Teaching

I have spent a considerable amount of time teaching at undergraduate level in UAB. This includes the co-organization of courses, preparing materials for practical sessions (labs) and lecturing lab sessions (hands-on is my specialty).

Recently I organized an online deep learning course, focused on practical aspects and hands-on experience using MatConvNet. This course covers different topics from the construction of very basic classification networks to state-of-the-art deconvolutional models for semantic segmentation. It shows how to fully adapt MatConvNet, including the addition of new training methods, types of layers, etc.
